Become an Incredible Volunteer this National Volunteers’ Week

Incredible Kids volunteersIt’s National Volunteers’ Week! Incredible Kids was created by volunteers and 10 years on, volunteers are still at the heart of our service.

Whether our volunteers have dedicated time to welcoming families, capturing magic moments through photography, baking cakes or helping out with the admin behind the scenes – our volunteers always do it with a smile.

Did you know we won the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service this year? We had a fabulous celebration and were presented the award by HM Lord Lieutenant Peaches Golding and Lee Williams DL.

In recognition of our achievement two members of the Incredible Kids team were invited to attend the Buckingham Palace Garden Party in celebration of the King’s Coronation! You can read more about our Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service.

Incredible Kids volunteer, Eve, shared her experience:
“I loved being able to volunteer my time to help families and their children. I love the atmosphere at Incredible Kids. We all cared for each other. It was amazing being able to give each child the attention they needed and give them a safe and fun environment to play in.
Being a volunteer at Incredible Kids is extremely rewarding. I would encourage people to volunteer because the group needs you. Families need that support and to know that they have someone to talk to. The most memorable part of being a volunteer is having that sense of pride in what you are doing. Feeling proud that I could help the families that came to the sessions and give each child the attention and care that they needed. I have happy memories of Incredible Kids and hope to return one day soon.”
Visit our volunteer page to find out more about each role and apply or get in touch if you have any queries. We’d love to welcome you aboard our Incredible Krew.
