“The mug had me in tears!” — Free Cosy Kits support families through winter

We held an Incredibly Warm Day to help families who have kids with additional needs to keep spirits high and energy bills low during a rise in the cost of living…and it snowed that very morning! ❄️Incredible Kids staff members next to a huge pile of full tote bags
We created 90 Cosy Kits to give to our families. Each kit contained a bamboo hot drink flask, an electricity reader, a radiator key, night lights, a hot water bottle and more! All bundled into newly designed organic cotton Tote-ally Incredibe bags. 😍 We were especially chuffed with the reusable cups, which we labelled with ‘An incredible human drinks from this’ to make our families feel valued.
Winter has been challenging and we wanted to provide a safe and warming day for families to connect, feel less isolated and enjoy quality time together.
A special thanks to the brilliant Danielle Greenwood of Uke Lift Project who ran Ukulele workshops for our kids. We hope families had a warming weekend and that our little gifts help keep energy costs down.
This was all possible thanks to the National Grid UK‘s Community Matters Fund. 😊Cosy Kit contents
We’re so pleased that families seemed to really appreciate the Cosy Kits. Here’s what some of them thought…

  • “Incredible Kids has helped my family in so many ways! It’s given me a reason to leave the house. It’s given my children something to look forward to each week, that is different enough to mean it’s never boring but at the same time stays similar enough so that they don’t get scared of coming.” — Anonymous parent
  • “Very impressed & surprised. The message on the cup meant a lot. I was very grateful for the rechargeable hand warmer. We enjoyed being inside in the warm learning ukulele when it was very cold & soggy outside. Incredible Kids has given us a sense of belonging & a place where we fit in.”  — Anonymous parentWomen teaching the ukelele to a young person with additional needs
