Get Support

Come and enjoy a cup of tea with us and meet other parents in a similar situation while your children have lots to enjoy. Incredible Kids is a place for families that have a child with any additional needs or disability to spend time together. You don’t need any diagnosis to visit us and siblings are equally welcome. We allow all young people from the ages of 0 up to 25 to attend. Parents are fully responsible for their children and young people at all times but we do have some playworkers who help the children have fun.

We have a selection of toys for the whole family to enjoy together including a sensory area, bubble tube, toy cars, train sets, Lego, ipads, ride-on toys, role play,  soft toys and much, much more. For older children, we have a selection of ipads, games consoles and table football which they are free to use with adult supervision.

On Monday evenings in term time we run sessions for young people who are in secondary school. Depending on what your young person enjoys they can play board games, do arts and crafts, enjoy cooking, spend time in our beauty corner, play games consoles, make milkshakes and much more. Parent/Carers can stay in the parent cafe area or with their child but must still supervise their young person’s behaviour at all times and support them more closely if required. Sessions cost £3 per family.

Teenagers are also welcome at all of our all age sessions on Thursdays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, Fridays from 10am to 12pm and Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm.

Family Sessions

We provide a range of all age family play sessions for families to socialise, receive support whilst having a fun family day out. Our all age sessions are on Thursdays from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, Fridays from 10am to 12pm and Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm. Sessions cost £3 per family.

Siblings are as much a part of Incredible Kids as any family members who have additional needs. We know that many siblings tell us of the isolation they often feel and the need to make friends with other siblinsg who understand their situation. Siblings are welcome at all of our sessions.

We provide family support workshops on a range of topics. Past workshops have included summer holiday planning, stress management, and makaton.

We provide a safe place for families with children who have additional needs to come together and spend quality time as a family.
