Hello! We’re Incredible Kids, a Bristol-based charity providing inclusive play sessions and family support for children and young people aged 0 to 25 with additional needs or disabilities, and their families. We are a Christian-led charity, open to everyone regardless of faith, background, or belief.
Whatever your child’s additional needs or disability, you are welcome here. No diagnosis is needed. Come along for a cuppa, let our Incredible Playworkers do their magic, and while the children play, you can breathe, chat to someone who truly gets it, and remember that you are not alone.
We have over 5,000 members across 148 postcodes and hold the King’s Award for Voluntary Service, the UK’s highest award for voluntary organisations.
The Power of a Cup of Tea
Incredible Kids was founded in 2012 after a local disability centre closed, leaving around 400 families in Bristol without support. Our founder Jennie had a simple idea: meet up in a local church, bring toys, and support each other.
Parents brought cakes. They listened to each other. They found their people.
The charity has grown enormously since those early days, but our ethos has never changed. We still believe in the power of a supported community, the importance of feeling truly understood, and yes, a good cup of tea.
Over the years we have adapted and moved across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, which has made us resilient and quick to respond to what families actually need. We were one of the only children’s disability charities to retain public-facing family play sessions throughout the 2020 lockdowns, because we knew how much families needed us.
Our Sessions
We run a range of inclusive play sessions at The Vench Adventure Playground in Lockleaze, Bristol. Sessions include Incredible Saturdays, Incredible Fridays, Small Group Sessions, Incredible Girls, and PDA Support Sessions.

Our Leadership
Jennie Prewett, Founder and CEO
Jennie founded Incredible Kids after her own family struggled to access support for their autistic children. She knows first-hand how isolating and exhausting it can be to navigate the SEND system without the right support, and she built Incredible Kids so that no family would ever have to face that alone.
A mum of six with 13 years of experience leading the charity, Jennie has drawn on her lived experience of parenting children with additional needs to shape everything Incredible Kids does. Her faith is central to her leadership: she believes every child and every family deserves to be seen, valued, and supported.
Our Trustees
Incredible Kids is governed by a voluntary board of trustees who share our commitment to inclusive play and family support. Maria, Chizoba and Jennie lead the direction of the charity.
